I'm Picturing Andy Dwyer as Saul (1 Samuel 9-10) - Faith and Other Oddities Episode 80
This week Saul approaches Samuel, but he has no clue who the most famous man in all of Israel is. Despite being against the idea of king, Samuel begins to see what God is up to and he plays his part to the hilt. God is going to answer the cries of the people and give them exactly what they want - a king like all the other nations. We also talk about the significance of Rachel’s tomb, dip our toes into a bit of the Kabbalah, and why we need to be careful about what we take as revelation from God.
