Excuses Get You Nowhere - Faith and Other Oddities Episode 88

Saul tries to sell his disobedience as obedience, but Samuel isn’t buying it. The writer shows off how great of a writer he really is, and offers us an example of excellence that we should all heed. Samuel confronts Saul using poetry, and we know that poetry from prophets is the beginning of the end. Saul tries to wiggle out of it by blaming the people, and we see the connections back to Genesis 3. And we note how Saul has become like the enemy God has commanded to be destroyed.
