Did Joseph Enslave Egypt? - Faith and Other Oddities Episode 35

In this often neglected portion of Joseph’s story, we learn that Joseph may not have been such a great guy and how he may have created the system that caused the events in Exodus by enslaving all of Egypt. We discuss how different commentators reveal their bias by either explaining away what Joseph did or in condemning his actions, and of course, we tell which view we think is correct and why. Jacob adopts Joseph’s two sons as a way to reinstate Joseph into the family.
