The Testimony, Death and Funeral of Jacob - Faith and Other Oddities Episode 36
Jacob is about to die, but before he does he is going to bless each one of his sons. In this blessing he offers a prophetic peek into the role each son and his son will play in the future of Israel. This is a dramatic shift from previous patriarchs whose blessing is reserved for a single son.. By including all twelve of his sons, Jacob lays the ground work for what will become the foundation for the nation of Israel. And then we discover a problem - is Joseph a wild ass or a fruitful bough? (Don’t worry. We offer an answer next week).
